Jakarta, Jatengaja.com - Gelaran penghargaan Oscar 2022 yang bakal digelar pada 27 Maret mendatang telah dimulai dengan pengumuman nominasi calon pemenang penghargaan bergensi film  internasional tersebut.

Berdasarkan pengumuman nominasi tersebut, film The Power of The Dog yang dibintangi oleh Benedict Cumberbatch mendominasi sejumlah penghargaan  antara lain Best Picture, Best Director, Best Lead Actor, Best Supporting Actor, dan Best Supportng Actress. 

Sedangkan  Jane Campion disebut menjadi wanita pertama yang mendapat nominasi lebih dari sekali untuk kategori sutradara terbaik serta Denzel Washington juga memperpanjang rekor yang telah dipegangnya sebagai aktor kulit hitam yang mendapat nominasi paling banyak.

Dikutip dari Jogjaaja.com  jejaring media Jatengaja.com,  ajang   Academy Awards ke-94 ini rencananya diadakan pada 27 Maret 2022 di Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre dan disiarkan langsung di ABC. Untuk pertama kalinya dalam tiga tahun terakhir, Oscar 2022 ini akan dipandu oleh pembawa acara.
